The Lyons National Bank (LNB) is proud to support the Laurel House -- a comfort care home that will offer palliative care to residents in Wayne County. Robert Schick, Jim Homburger, and Steve Hasseler presented a check to Laurel House Board Members on October 25, as part of a $15,000 pledge from LNB to assist with the costs to ready the home for care giving. Renovations to the Fair Street home, located near the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, are now in progress.
"As a community bank, LNB feels very connected to the communities we serve," said Robert Schick, CEO and Chairman of the Board at LNB. "The Laurel House is a strong example of individuals working together to make a difference in their community, and LNB is proud to support such a worthwhile project."
LNB Board Director, Jim Homburger and his wife, Peg, are major supporters of the Laurel House project and have pledged a significant gift to the effort. Laurel House Board members welcome the support from businesses, organizations and individuals to help make this unique home possible.
