LNB Channels Creativity at Peppermint Days
The Lyons National Bank recently helped celebrate the rich history of Lyons, NY by serving as a sponsor and participant in the town's annual Peppermint Days Festival. The bank's Lyons branch staff got involved in some friendly competition during Saturday's parade, bringing home first place for their creative float design.
Embracing the heat of the summer, the float was decked out in luau themed décor. LNB employees even got into the spirit, donning leis and Hawaiian shirts to add to the fun.
"It was a great time had by all," said Lyons Branch Manager, Julieann Downey. "This is an event we look forward to every year."
The family-oriented festival is held in Lyons' central square, and is aimed at celebrating the rich roots of the community. Each year, Peppermint Days brings together the 4,500 citizens of the Village, as well as visitors.
